Im österreichischen Triathlonsport gibt es aktuell zwei neue großartige Nachwuchsprojekte. Und beide sind bereits in der Umsetzung. Es handelt sich dabei um das vom Ministerium geförderte "Triathlon goes School" und die Bundesschulmeisterschaften im Aquathlon mit großem Finale in Wien vom 24.-26. Juni 2024.

Nicht nur die Qualifikation für die Olympischen Spiele ist derzeit großes Thema sondern auch die Age Group Qualifikation für die WM in Torremolinos (ESP). Nach der EM 2023 in Madrid und der WM 2024 in Hamburg, ist diese ist am vergangenen Wochenende auch national beim Apfelland Triathlon angelaufen. Mittlerweile sind 130 Athlet:innen für den finalen Höhepunkt des diesjährigen Wettkampfjahres qualifiziert.
